Chad Pennington Exacts Revenge On Jets, Leads Dolphins to AFC East Title
With a 24-17 road victory over the New York Jets, the Miami Dolphins completed the biggest one-year turnaround in NFL history by willing 10 games more in 2008 than they did the previous season.
Also, with the victory the Dolphins clinched the AFC East title while simultaneously eliminating division rivals New England and New York from playoff contention. It was a strong performance from all areas of the team as the Dolphins pulled off another victory with a strong fourth quarter, as they have so often done this season.
The win gives the Dolphins great momentum heading into the playoffs, where they play the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday in the Wild Card round. In the meantime, here's my recap of the Dolphins' victory over the Jets:
