Week 14 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Demaryius Thomas and the Best Flex WRs
Matchups, matchups, matchups. That's what guides the flex position all season long. The nature of the position is that it often changes.
Now that you embark on the playoffs, you need to take a look at these guys to fill the slot. In all honesty, these wouldn't be bad plays at receiver. Still, judging by the amount of leagues they are owned in, I am guessing that many of you aren't willing to make that step.
But that doesn't mean they can't be in your lineup. These are all players that owners everywhere would be advised to get into their lineups.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Demaryius Thomas
While it's true that Thomas hasn't had more than one good game, there are a few other factors to look at.
The Bears' run defense is just too good to run too much on them. John Fox will have to turn Tim Tebow loose and let him pass the ball a little bit. When he does, Thomas is about as good of an option as Tebow will have.
The fear here is understandable. If Thomas doesn't score a touchdown, it seems as though he'll be a complete wash, but I am not buying that at this point.
For one, Thomas can find the end zone again. Two, they just don't have enough receiving options for Thomas to get hung out to dry.
Darrius Heyward-Bey
One of two things is going to happen in this game, and they both benefit Heyward-Bey. One is that the Raiders will get blown out. In that case, they will be throwing the ball a lot.
The other option is that they will hand close with Green Bay, but that won't happen without some big plays. While the Raiders do have a lot of receivers, Heyward-Bey is the most dynamic threat that they have.
In either way, Heyward-Bey promises to be a nice play this week.
Kyle Williams
The 49ers have the NFC West clinched, so it's only sensible that they will look to use the rest of the season as a chance to fix their weaknesses. One of this team's greatest weaknesses is that it lacks a big-play threat.
Williams' speed makes him a big-play threat. Technically, Braylon Edwards is the starter, but Williams has been a much better receiver this season. That's been pretty obvious.
When the 49ers and Cardinals met earlier in the year, Williams found the endzone. I would look for that to happen again this week. Arizona's secondary will have a problem matching up against San Francisco's speedster.
Williams is a good play for the rest of the season.
