B/R's Most Important Person Of The Year...Other Than Zander

I recently read and article on B/R's sportsperson of the year, and although the man receiving the award was deserving, he was picked by the writer of the article and not B/R's fans and readers.

So I told him what he should have done was make an article where you got to vote. But he didn't think you would, so I am writing this to prove you, the B/R fans and readers will.

Now everyone nominated for this award is either a community leader, No .1 or 2 in their respective section, and/or have articles of the day. All deserve to be nominated, but it is up to you to choose the winner.

With that said, here are the nominees...

Sean Crowe

Crowe is the man in the NFL section. Although he looks like a monkey he has proved in many ways that monkeys are smarter than they look. So much so that he has five articles of the day.

Many like the guy, he has 255 fans, WOW! and he currently has produced 209 articles.

Eric Blasco

You may know Blasco from the NBA section, he has 1 article of the day. And has currently produced 158 articles. He literally could answer and NBA question you may have.

If he doesn't know it, he will find it out.

Alan Bass

The NHL guru has been tearing it up on B/R for a little while now, he has eight count them eight articles of the day so far. I have zero, so that is cool to see. He has currently produced 158 articles.

Bass like Blasco is the man to ask if you have a question regarding his section. If there is an award for clutch it is Alan "The Iceman" Bass. He has some of the best articles I have ever read.

Lisa Horne

What can you say about Lisa Horne? She is one of the best on B/R. She is a pro-writer unlike most of us here. So I am glad someone is around to help us without grammar. You may know her from her 10 articles of the day.

Of course she is the college football guru. And has some of the better articles on B/R. She has so many fans that at least they will read her stuff. It seems to always be so good it is on the front page. Could be why she has so many articles of the day right?

She has 118 articles on B/R currently.

Sean Stancill

Now he may just now be getting into you homes, he has been doing quite well on B/R. Stancill is the man in college basketball. And many think so by giving him 1 article of the day.

We have been hearing more from him now since basketball has started back. With 228 articles currently you may want to read most of them, you might just learn something.

Bob Warja

The baseball man is in a league of his own when it comes to MLB writing. He is the No. 1 guy there and you may want to take notice. He has 3 articles of the day and he fans would tell you he may deserve more.

With 229 articles out currently he keeps getting better if that is possible. I personally think he has some of the better article every time he writes one. I agree with the fans in saying he deserves more articles of the day.

Dorothy Willis

There is a lot you can say about Dorothy Willis, but Queen is about right. Queen of the MMA that is. Of course since I am a wrestling writer and MMA is our biggest rivals it is hard to say things nice about them.

But I have to about Dorothy Willis. She is the No. 1 MMA writer and deserves it more than anyone there. She writes classy articles and will share her opinion, needed or not.

Michael Griffin

The Formula One writer has been tearing up the section. He is only 18 and has some of the best articles on B/R. But don't take my word for it. Take his three articles of the day. With 159 articles currently he has been a main stay on B/R.

Like Dorothy he shares his opinion if he needs to or not. Don't expect him to hold his tongue, if your wrong you'll hear it.

Mary Jo Buchanan

Mary Jo is a NASCAR writer, if you have not heard of her then you have now. She is No. 1 in the NASCAR section. And although she does not have an article of the day, she doe shave the best in her section.

The Intimidator has been resurrected in Mary Jo Buchanan. Look out for her.

Salaar Arshad Shamsi

The man with the hardest name to remember in the world has been doing very well on B/R. Putting out 496 articles in just 10 months. The World Football writer has three articles of the day.

And he might have many more to come. HE is currently a co-community leader with the next candidate.

Andrew McNair

You may know him from the front page, but he is the co-community leader of World Football. One of my favorite writers on B/R has three articles of the day, but should have more in my opinion.

With 281 articles currently you learn something every time you read one of his articles. So I have learned something at least 281 times.

Long John Silver

The Tennis guy, currently has 98 articles, but has three articles of the day. I guess that is one of the better percentages on B/R.

Like many of the other writers he does have some of the better articles.

Ron Johnson

Ah Ron Johnson, the wrestling community leader has been writing on B/R for two years now. Not only does he write in the wrestling world but also in college football too. And he four articles of the day to show for it.

Some may not like Ron in the football world because he gives you the truth whether you want to hear it or not. One of my favorite writers on B/R has a lot of B/R's writers' numbers.

One of the biggest rivalries in B/R history has been Lisa Horne vs Ron Johnson. Where it was Ron who surprised everyone with his knowledge. He currently has 442 articles.
