Fantasy Football Week 17 Rankings: Wide Receivers
It's the final week of the fantasy football season, and although the majority of leagues are finished, there are plenty of leagues that duke it out for 17 weeks.
If you are fortunate enough to have one final week of fantasy football, make sure to plan accordingly, as many teams could be pulling their starting wide receivers early this week.
With that in mind, the Bruno Boys bring to you the Week 17 Wide Receiver Rankings. Happy Holidays, Bruno Boys Nation!
--------------------
1. Steve Smith (Carolina Panthers) @ New Orleans
In week 16, the New York Giants did a good job of taking Smith out of the game, and he could only muster six fantasy points. However, this week he takes on a Saints defense that he torched for 17 points earlier this year, and you can expect much of the same from him with the Panthers playing for a first-round playoff bye.
Point Projection: 18 points

2. Brandon Marshall (Denver Broncos) @ San Diego
Marshall had 18 receptions and 22 fantasy points in a week 2 meeting against San Diego, and you can expect another big game from him with the season on the line. The Chargers rank 31st in the NFL against the pass, have trouble defending physical wide receivers, and the Broncos will make sure to get their star wideout involved in this game.
Point Projection: 17 points
--------------------
3. Roddy White (Atlanta Falcons) vs. St. Louis
As good as White has been this year, he's been held without a touchdown since week 10. Also, he struggled when it mattered most, as he could only manage six total points during the fantasy semifinals and championship weeks.
With the Falcons needing to get White ready for the post-season, we expect quarterback Matt Ryan to exploit a Rams defense that allows 28 points per game.
Point Projection: 16 points
--------------------
4. Greg Jennings (Green Bay Packers) vs. Detroit
Despite having just 60 receiving yards over the past two games, Jennings has been fortunate enough to find paydirt in both of those games. In fact, if he scores this week it will be six of seven weeks with a touchdown.
Taking on a Lions defense that surrendered 167 receiving yards to Jennings earlier in the year is enough for us to proclaim him a top five play this week.
Point Projection: 16 points
--------------------
5. Andre Johnson (Houston Texans) @ Chicago
After Johnson's 207-yard effort in week 15, no one thought that Johnson would be held to just 19 receiving yards in week 16. Well, it happened.
Oakland Raiders cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha limited him all day as the Texans got dominated by the hapless Raiders. However, week 17 is a new week and the Bears are the 28th worst team in the NFL at defending the pass.
Point Projection: 15 points
--------------------
6 Vincent Jackson (San Diego Chargers) vs. Denver
Jackson has at least 10 fantasy points in four of the last five games and with the division on the line you can expect him to make a big play in this game. After all, the Broncos defense has allowed at least 30 points in three of their last five games, and the last times these two teams, they scored 78 points.
Point Projection: 15 points
--------------------
7. Randy Moss (New England Patriots) @ Buffalo
If it wasn't for a 76 yard touchdown in week 16, Moss would have laid a stinker for his owners in the fantasy championships. If your league plays into week 17, you should feel confident in starting Moss, who has nine career touchdowns in just six games against the Bills. Plus, he has seven touchdowns since week 11.
