6. Patriots (9-3)
7. Texans (9-3)
8. Falcons (7-5)
9. Cowboys (7-5)
10. Broncos (7-5)
Comments
Tough to argue with any team in the top seven, as just about any media outlet has those teams in a very similar order. I don't think many would argue that the Falcons and Cowboys aren't the top two 7-5 teams, either.
I love that the Broncos crack top 10, and it has absolutely nothing to do with Tim Tebow. This team has won six of seven games and now has control of first place in the AFC West. They deserve a ranking this high.
11-20
11. Jets (7-5)
12. Lions (7-5)
13. Titans (7-5)
14. Bengals (7-5)
15. Raiders (7-5)
16. Giants (6-6)
17. Bears (7-5)
18. Cardinals (5-7)
19. Seahawks (5-7)
20. Bills (5-7)
Comments
How in the world to possibly separate the remaining 7-5 teams? The Jets have won a few games in a row, so I don't mind them at No. 11. The Lions could be lower considering some of the meltdowns they've had in recent weeks. But how do you really rank the Bengals, Raiders, Giants and Bears? It's take your pick there for me.
Cardinals make a big jump (up seven spots) after an overtime win over Dallas. In a regular season in the AFC West, we'd be talking about the Cards' chances at a playoff berth.
21-32
21. Chargers (5-7)
22. Dolphins (4-8)
23. Chiefs (5-7)
24. Eagles (4-8)
25. Panthers (4-8)
26. Buccaneers (4-8)
27. Redskins (4-8)
28. Browns (4-8)
29. Jaguars (3-9)
30. Vikings (2-10)
31. Rams (2-10)
32. Colts (0-12)
Comments
You can't blame for ESPN for having the Dolphins continue to climb. Over the past month or so, they've done a complete 180.
Still think the Eagles could be lower than 24. This doesn't even look like a team that has potential anymore.
I think we might be seeing a season where at least three teams finish with three or fewer wins. The Colts are a lock, and the other three candidates—Rams, Vikings and Jags—all have difficult remaining schedules.
