NFL Power Rankings: Identifying the Biggest Offensive Juggernauts
We are through 13 weeks of the NFL season and the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints have consistently shown themselves to possess the two best offenses in the league. Both teams are led by exceptional quarterbacks but also possess an embarrassment of weapons at the skill positions.
Thanks to those offenses, the Packers and Saints have put themselves at the top of the list of Super Bowl favorites.
Green Bay is now 12-0 after a 38-35 win over the New York Giants on Sunday. Once again, the Packers were led by their stellar offense which put up 449 yards on the day. Green Bay is currently fourth in the NFL in total offense, averaging 405.3 yards per game, while they lead the league in points per game (35.0).

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
For the Packers, it all starts at quarterback, and Aaron Rodgers is having what might be the best season for a passer in NFL history. Through 12 games Rodgers has completed 288-of-408 passes for 3,844 yards, with an NFL-high 37 touchdown passes and five interceptions.
The 28-year-old also leads the league in completion percentage (70.6), yards per attempt (9.42) and his quarterback rating of 125.3 is 19.4 points higher than second place (Tom Brady, 105.9).
With Rodgers playing as well as he is, the Packers have become virtually unstoppable. The Cal product also has no fewer than six capable pass catchers in Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, Jermichael Finley, James Jones, Donald Driver and Randall Cobb.
Until an opponent shows that Green Bay can be stopped, Rodgers and company have to be considered the favorites to take home the Lombardi Trophy this year.
Meanwhile, the Saints are now 9-3 and are the only team that can claim to be in the Packers' league offensively. New Orleans currently leads the NFL in total offense, averaging 448.7 yards per game. The Saints also lead the league in passing offense (325.3 yards per game) and are second in points per game (32.8).
New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees is having yet another fantastic season. Thus far Brees has completed 349-of-496 passes for a league-high 4,031 yards with 30 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Brees is currently second in the NFL in completion percentage (70.4) and his quarterback rating of 105.5 ranks third.
Brees has used his weapons incredibly well this season, as tight end Jimmy Graham (75 catches, 1,046 yards) and running back Darren Sproles (67 catches, 522 yards) have been fantastic. The Saints also boast the NFL's eighth-best rushing attack (123.3 yards per game) making them even more dangerous.
Brees and the Saints seem to have hit their stride, and it's really hard to see anyone slowing down their offense down the stretch. We could be headed for a rematch of the Saints-Packers game from Week 1 in the NFC title game.
