Dunga- "Thiago Silva is a fenômeno." That means phenomenon for those of you who do not speak Portuguese.
Brazil head-coach Dunga has set high expectations for Milan fans regarding central defender Thiago Silva. The Brazilian trainer approved of the ex-Fluminense players move to the Italian club and said he considered him exceptional.

"Here we talk of phenomenon. He's fast, has personality, and plays fantastic football for the position. He can play any role in the defense. In short, he's a number one. Milan bought themselves a fantastic player," said Dunga, in an interview given to the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Thiago Silva was a constant pick for Dunga in 2008, even with players the likes of Lúcio and Juan in Europe. The new Milan addition was also one of the over 23 players called to play in the Beijing Olympic games, but was injured during preparations for the games and only played twice.

Of course we can all remember Thiago's last appearance for Brazil vs. Portugal in the recent 6-2 massacre. He was largely responsible for marking Portugal's Cristiano even though in fairness was not given much work.
