Dear Santa Claus: All I Want For Christmas is to See the Lions Go Winless

With my annual visit to Santa this year, I asked him for something personal. Something I have not seen in my lifetime. Sure it has happened before, but no team in NFL history has lost all 16 games in a regular season before.

Sure the Yuchaneers or the Ain'ts come to mind as some of the worst teams in NFL history. Maybe you might think of last years Dolphins who won just one game and made a historic turn around this season.

Last year was all set and then they won, why Dolphins? Why? You had no reason and no right to win, and you did. The Lions look to be the worst team this season and the off-season doesn't look good for many of the coaches there.

But they could win a game, I asked Santa to not let that happen. He helps all the boys and girls in the world. And sure I am well past the boy years and many stared at me when I sat on his lap and asked, but I didn't care.

I wanted my wish to come true, and I know I could't ask the Great Pumpkin because he was gone for the year, so Santa was my only choice. Santa, tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and Christmas is usually the next night.

Just give me a sign, a sign that I will see the Lions go winless. You gave me the 15th lose already Santa and I am much obliged. But number 16 needs to happen. It is all I want for Christmas Santa.

You broke my heart last season by not letting my Patriots go undefeated, so this is your year to prove to me you are real. They lost the last game of the season in the Super Bowl.

Do not let the Lions win in their last chance this week. New Years is coming up and I want to start the year off well. Sure the Lions may not look good, and will go down as one of the worst teams in NFL history.

But that is the price they need to pay for a Christmas wish. Santa all I ask is that you do this for me and I will never ask for anything else. Although a better computer may be helpful.

Plus you are a Green Bay Packers fan anyway.
