Super Bowl Shuffle Video: Watch Indianapolis Businesses Butcher Classic Song
Before the 2011 season kicked off, seeing the Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl was a reasonable expectation. That certainly would have been a great story, as Super Bowl XLVI is slated to be played at Lucas Oil Stadium.
So much for that. The Colts haven't won a game yet this season, so Super Bowl XLVI is not going to be a home game. The crowds are going to have to come from elsewhere.
How can the city of Indianapolis possibly hope to lure them?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Why, through the power of song, of course.
Direct your eyes to the above video, which was designed to attract tourists to Indianapolis' various hotels for Super Bowl XLVI. To do the job, the best and the brightest in the Indy hotel scene donned headbands and sunglasses and got to work performing a modified version of "The Super Bowl Shuffle."
Fair warning: This version doesn't quite have quite as much campy goodness as the original rendition, performed of course by the 1985 Chicago Bears. Their version was good silly. Indy's version is bad silly.
Will this video sabotage Indy's mission to stock its hotels full of Super Bowl goers? I highly doubt it. The day the Super Bowl city fails to attract tourists is the day the world will officially come to an end. You don't need gimmicks to get people to come.
As such, I guess this video is largely harmless, even if it is remarkably cheesy.
But that doesn't mean we should let it slide. If you do happen to visit one of these fine hotels, make sure you demand that the nearest staff member sing the Super Bowl Shuffle on the spot. It will suck for him/her, but you'll get a few lulz out of it.
Consider it part of the Super Bowl experience.
