Week 13 Waiver Wire: The Latest Buzz on Week's Best Additions
There are two running backs who should be available in your fantasy league who have ascended to starting roles for their respective franchises.
Donald Brown was the first-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts in 2009, but has been inconsistent and has never established himself as a starting back with the team.
That has changed over the past few weeks.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Brown rushed 14 times for 80 yards and a score while adding one catch for 17 yards in Week 12 against the Carolina Panthers. In the past three weeks the UConn product has 203 yards and a touchdown on 34 carries (5.97 yards per carry), while adding six receptions for 30 yards.
On Tuesday, Colts vice chairman Bill Polian reiterated the team's commitment to Brown, calling him one of the team's strengths. That's good news if you can be lucky enough to snag him in your fantasy league. With the awful quarterback situation in Indianapolis, Brown should see a ton of carries over the last few weeks of the season. Grab him and put him in the lineup immediately.
Another guy who has finally established himself as his team's go-to ball carrier is Washington Redskins rookie Roy Helu. The fourth-round pick out of Nebraska has it all. He's big, strong, fast and has great hands.
In Week 12 he rushed the ball 23 times for 108 yards and a touchdown and added seven catches for 54 more yards. There is no question that Helu has the talent to produce those kinds of results every week. The Redskins are another team with a horrendous quarterback situation so don't be surprised if those 30 touches Helu got on Sunday turns out to be normal.
On Wednesday, Redskins coach Mike Shanahan reaffirmed that Helu will be his starting back going forward. That means you should snag him and immediately start him. The kid will put up points for you.
