FC Barcelona: Sandro Rossell Says Lionel Messi Is Not Negotiable

Anzhi Makhachkala eventually signed Eto'o, but the idea of Messi—even if it is a rumor—leaving Barca might have sent warning signals to Rossell. The conclusion from this piece of news is that Messi will remain at Barca even after his contract expires in 2016.
