WWE Raw: Watch John Cena Squash Hopes of a Heel Turn in Piper's Pit
On last night's Raw, we got to see the return of one of the most popular segments in WWE history, Piper's Pit.
Piper came out to interview John Cena. The topic of discussion was how the crowd treats John Cena during his interactions with The Rock.
Piper seemed upset that the crowd would boo a guy like Cena, but it seemed to upset him even more that Cena would not express his displeasure.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Piper is one of those guys who was great as a heel or a face, and he told the crowd about how those different reactions would bring out different emotions from him.
Cena went on to say that this is why he loves WWE, because the fans can say and do whatever they want, and especially because they can cheer who they want.
Piper was not having any of this and tried his hardest to get Cena riled up. He wanted Cena to go off on the crowd that seemed to be mostly booing him.
He even went as far as to hand his hall of fame ring to Cena. When that didn't work, Piper resorted to what he knows best and slapped Cena.
For a split second, it looked like Cena would retaliate, but instead, he gave the ring back and made his way up the ramp to the backstage area.
This not only showed that Cena will probably not turn heel anytime soon, but it also showed how the crowd kind of wanted him to.
When Piper slapped him, you could tell a lot of the audience wanted him to hit Piper back, because that was what Piper wanted.
I will admit that in my head, I was hoping for a heel turn I knew would not come. Why would WWE take their biggest babyface and turn him heel just months before the biggest match of his career, which will undoubtedly end in a Cena victory?
Watch the video and tell me what you think. Is there any chance for Cena to turn heel?
