Fantasy Football Week 13: 3 Players Guaranteed to Dominate
Playoff spots are there for the taking in many fantasy leagues, and Week 13 in the 2011 NFL season features a few games that should yield some huge statistical games for a handful of players.
Patriots against the Colts?
Lions in New Orleans to face the Saints on Sunday night?
Yes, I'm excited too.
These guys should dominate this weekend.
Everyone on the New England Patriots
1 of 3Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez, Deion Branch and even BenJarvus Green-Ellis are salivating at the mouth for their matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.
Not exactly the marquee games we're used to between these two clubs.
Brady went through a mini-slump earlier in the season, but he's got the offense clicking, and Wes Welker has returned to being that matchup nightmare.
With a big lead, you never know if the Patriots will take their foot off the gas, but you've got to believe Green-Ellis will see more carries than usual.
Anyone with a streaking Patriot head on their helmet is a must-start this week.
Maybe the Patriots mascot can get involved too by reporting as an eligible receiver in the red zone.
Tony Romo
2 of 3Romo and the Cowboys travel to the desert to face the defensively-challenged Cardinals.
Arizona is allowing 250 yards through the air per game, and opposing quarterbacks are completing 60 percent of their passes against them.
In their 23-20 win over the Rams last week, Sam Bradford finished the game with a 85.8 QB rating.
They aren't necessarily stout against the run, either (surrendering 109 yards per contest).
DeMarco Murray should be able to alleviate pressure from Romo, and it looks as though Laurent Robinson is here to say.
Big day for the Cowboys as they move to 8-4.
Frank Gore
3 of 3Think the 49ers will lean on Frank Gore, their bruising runner against the league's worst run defense?
Let's see—the St. Louis rams allowed 268 total yards rushing on 7.1 yards per carry in their 23-20 loss to the Cardinals last week.
Beanie Wells accounted for 228 of those yards.
Yeah, I think so.
Gore should have a monster day, and I wouldn't be surprised if he finds the end zone on more on one occasion.
