WWE Rumors: John Cena, Kane, Triple H and Tuesday's Top WWE News
WWE is on a roll. Well, there have been two very good Raw shows in a row and SmackDown last week was terrific, so we can at least appreciate the fact that the company is no longer insulting our intelligence.
Who knew that getting rid of The Rock would actually cause the creative team to get rid of a lot of their fluff and go back to sound writing?
The one negative is that there has been no promotion at all for the TLC pay-per-view. There are only two Raw shows left before the show and there have been no matches announced.

But when Raw is good, I guess I can tolerate some things more than I normally would.

"ROWDY" RODDY PIPER TRIES TO MAKE JOHN CENA COOL
Raw kicked off with an interesting edition of "Piper's Pit." It started out slowly but quickly evolved into something more when Roddy Piper tried to get Cena to show some attitude and anger. It didn't happen as Cena walked away, but it did leave me intrigued to see where they are going with this.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Why is Cena afraid of a 57-year-old retired wrestler with two bad hips?
Our Take: Cena is the golden child. He is pure good, so for him to just haul off and hit a legend like Piper right away would be out of character. As long as this builds to him just going bat-crap crazy on everyone in a few months, everything will be fine.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Bloated Transvestite Wonder Woman Arm Bands
Cena's character has not been interesting for years, and this is exactly the kind of storyline that he needs to make himself relevant again. All that the fans have wanted is to see him be honest and real instead of the smiling phony that we have had for the last five years.

KANE WANTS TO BE SCARY AGAIN, SO HE IS BURNING A MASK IN SOME VIDEOS
Kane's return has been speculated about for a long time, and now that there are video teases saying that he is "Resurrected," that speculation will stop and the anticipation for his arrival begins. Oh yeah, he his probably going to have his mask back too.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Should Kane return wearing the old red mask?
Our Take: Aside from being an obvious merchandise seller, I don't know what purpose Kane back in the mask serves. There was no mystery or aura once he took it off, so what is it really going to mean when he puts it back on?
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Mirrors Shattering
Kane is in the final stages of his career and a return to his original gimmick will have some nice nostalgia for the fans, and he will work his hardest to sell the idea. Even if I don't agree with it, it will get a nice pop when he does return.

BRODUS CLAY IS MISSING
After weeks of constantly teasing his return, it is safe to say that WWE has no idea what to do with Brodus Clay so they just keep delaying his comeback by putting the charismatic John Laurinaitis on television talking to the monster on the phone and saying...something. I tend to tune Johnny Ace out.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Where is Brodus Clay?
Our Take: He is probably hanging around the basement of some arenas alongside long lost WWE characters The Goon, Gobbledy Gooker and The Spirit Squad (minus Dolph Ziggler, of course).
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Monsters Lost In The Woods
At this point, any hype surrounding Clay's return has lost all its luster. The constant teases and not delivering have just made this whole return more annoying than exciting. Poor Brodus does not deserve that, but that is the state of the WWE creative today.

JOHN MORRISON LEAVES WWE NOT WITH A BANG BUT WITH A FIZZLE
The writing has been on the wall for months, and on Raw it was finally made official: John Morrison is leaving WWE. The parkour specialist was destroyed in a falls count anywhere match by The Miz and taken out on a stretcher.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Where will Morrison end up?
Our Take: He can put out a nice collection of DVDs on how to botch moves and screw up your career by dating a crazy lady, or he can go to TNA. Honestly, the former sounds more appealing than the latter.
Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 JoMo-Sapien T-Shirts
Morrison has been buried on television for so long that the odds of him ever getting over big were slim to none, but it is still disappointing to see WWE constantly destroy the morale of young, talented performers and force them to walk away in the prime of their careers.

KEVIN NASH AND TRIPLE H KNOW THEIR FEUD SUCKS, DON'T SHOW UP ON RAW
You would think that a feud involving Kevin Nash and Triple H, two of the most powerful backstage workers in WWE, would be a high priority. Instead, neither star did anything on Raw last night and their potential match at TLC seems even more irrelevant than it did one week ago. Hard to believe, I know.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will Triple H be able to get a good match out of Kevin Nash at TLC?
Our Take: That might be the funniest question that I have ever heard. If this was 1999 and Triple H was still one of the best workers in the business and Nash was 12 years younger, it would probably still be bad. But this is 2011, so it is going to be a train wreck.
Hype Meter: 2 out of 5 Lame Hand Signals That Stopped Being Cool In 1998
No one cares about Nash, so why bother putting him in a high profile match with Triple H? I know that they are BFFs and think that they have a great dynamic, but they have to know that there is no buzz or hype for a potential match at TLC in any way, shape or form.
