Can Maurice Morris Bring Home a Title?
The majority of fantasy football leagues wrapped up this past week. Some leagues, however, play the season out, be it a two-week (Weeks 16 & 17) championship round or simply use Week 17 to determine a champion. If you are still in the hunt, perhaps running back Maurice Morris can help put you over the top.
One week after gaining 86 yards on 15 carries to lead the Seahawks to a win over St. Louis, Morris went for 116 yards on 29 carries to hinder the Jets’ playoff chances.
Seattle faces Arizona in Week 17, looking to finish the season on a high note with a three-game winning streak, as well as send Mike Holmgren off with a W as he calls it a career.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Arizona has been a train wreck since clinching a playoff spot, both offensively and defensively. They have been outscored 82-21 the past two weeks. Two weeks ago they were blitzed by Minnesota’s 21 first quarter points.
They racked up 396 total yards, with 239 of the coming on the ground. New England upped the ante with 514 total yards, with 183 coming via the run. The Patriots hung 31 first half points on the Cardinals.
Another benefit of using Morris this week is knowing that he will finish the game barring injury. Teams that have already clinched like Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, the New York Giants, and Carolina could lighten the loads of their main ball carriers to preserve them for the playoffs.
With this being Holmgren’s last game, I’d assume Seattle will pull out all the stops to try and send him away a Winner. Maurice Morris’ fantasy owners could be doing just the same.
