NFL Power Rankings: Bottom Feeders That Are Getting Worse Every Week
At this point in the season, you're either in it or you're out of it.
Maybe it's just me, but it seems like there are far more teams out of it than usual. It actually feels like there aren't enough playoff contenders to go around.
This is probably because there are a lot of teams that are just plain bad this year. Some of them at least manage to be competitive on a weekly basis, but others are only getting worse as time goes on.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
For the sake of beating a few dead horses, let's discuss which teams are getting a little closer to rock bottom every week.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (No. 22)
I had high hopes for the Buccaneers this season, and I have to admit that I've let these high hopes cloud my judgment of them in recent weeks.
But right now, there is no more apologizing for the Buccaneers. They've lost five games in a row, and it's just hard to have any confidence in them. If there's a way for them to lose a game, they'll sniff it out.
Case in point, the Bucs just let Chris Johnson rush for 190 yards against them on Sunday. That would have been forgivable in the past, but not this year. CJ is not as good as the Bucs made him look.
That should tell you just how lousy the Bucs are this year.
San Diego Chargers (No. 25)
Some say the Chargers suck because Philip Rivers sucks. Some say they suck because Norv Turner sucks.
We can agree on one thing: The Chargers just plain suck. Not a nice thing to say, to be sure, but it's true all the same.
As of right now, the Chargers are mired in a six-game losing streak that has taken them out of the race in the AFC West. They had a chance to snap it on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, but they gave Tim Tebow a few too many chances.
If you do that, it's just a matter of time before you get smote. Such is life for the Chargers this year.
Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 29)
Credit where credit's due, the Jaguars are halfway decent on defense. Because of that, it's difficult for any team to put them away.
It's just too bad the Jags are the worst offensive team in the NFL. This obviously has a lot to do with their quarterback situation, which hasn't gotten any better under Blaine Gabbert.
In fact, Gabbert was bad enough to find himself back on the bench this Sunday. He hasn't exactly progressed in his time under center, and you honestly have to wonder if the Jags would consider drafting Andrew Luck if they somehow ended up with the No. 1 overall pick.
I wouldn't rule it out.
Indianapolis Colts (No. 32)
No surprise here, right? The Colts are far and away the worst team in the NFL, and it's possible they could finish the season without a single win.
The Colts had a golden chance to get their first win on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers are also a lousy team, and the Colts had them at home. It was either going to be the Colts' first foray into the win column, or Cam Newton's first win away from home.
Advantage: Newton.
In looking at the rest of the Colts' schedule, it's hard to be optimistic. The only way the Colts are winning a game this year is if they get really, really lucky.
Either way, the Colts are going to end up with Luck.
