Kevin Kolb Injury: Updates on Cardinals Star's Week 13 Status and Fantasy Value
To say that the Kevin Kolb-Arizona Cardinals experiment has been a disappointment would be an understatement of epic proportions. He has been so bad that the fans in the desert long for the days of Derek Anderson.
The good news, if you want to call it that, is that he has not been able to play the last four games due to a toe injury and hasn't been able to hurt his stock any more than he did when he was on the field.
Kolb entered the season with high expectations after showing promise in a few starts with the Philadelphia Eagles, but he has been unable to match them and his injury woes only compound how bad this deal looks for the Cardinals in hindsight.

Update: Sunday, Dec. 4 at 12:10 p.m. EDT by Alex Kay
Barring any unexpected setbacks, Kevin Kolb will get the start today against the Cowboys at 4:15 p.m.
It will be his first NFL action since October 30 against the Baltimore Ravens and he can be considered a low-end No. 2 QB today for fantasy purposes.
UPDATE: Friday, Dec. 2 at 4:25 p.m. EDT by Mike Chiari
It seems as though all is well for Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb as he has recovered well enough from his toe injury to make his first start in over a month on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, according to Darren Urban of the Cards' official website.
"Saying that Friday his toe and foot injuries were “the best its felt” since he got hurt, Kolb said “I don’t see any reason it would keep me from playing.” Kolb said it was a “huge difference” from a week ago Friday, when he was just getting back to regular practice work.
"
While this is good news for the Cardinals since it means John Skelton can return to his role as a backup, it shouldn't have any bearing on your fantasy plans. Kolb was been a bit of a disappointment, even when healthy, so I wouldn't expect a big game against Dallas.

It is early in the week, so this could change, but right now things sound much more positive with Kolb being able to play.
According to Darren Urban, who writes for the Cardinals' official website, the team is optimistic that Kolb will be back against Dallas on Sunday.
Take that with a grain of salt for now, but it is better than anything that we have heard about Kolb in a long time.
