Giants vs. Saints Live Blog: Analysis & Reactions of Monday Night Football Game
Tonight the 6-4 New York Giants—who are a half game behind the division leading Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East—head into the Mercedes Benz Superdome to take on the 7-3 NFC South leading New Orleans Saints.
The Giants began the season red hot and have had impressive road victories at Philadelphia and at New England. The Saints are undefeated in the friendly confines of the dome where Drew Brees and co. are able to control the crowd when on offense and rev it up on defense.
Both teams have potentially explosive offenses, and both have struggled at times to get the running game going, though the Giants' struggles have statistically been much greater than the Saints. The Giants came into week 10 as the 31st ranked rushing game, while the Saints are in the middle of the pack.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Of course Eli Manning is a hometown boy, who struggled the first time he played a pro game in the Superdome. The Saints forced a number of turnovers in that 2009 matchup and offensively scored early and often in a route of the Giants.
That game was billed as a battle of the upstarts against the champs. In the end it was the Saints who catapulted the Giants and proved the road to the Super Bowl would go through New Orleans, while the loss sent the Giants careening to misery and the firing of their defensive coordinator.
Tonight's matchup could very well determine whether it's an NFC South team who gets the conference's no. 3 seed or an NFC East team. That is most likely what is on the line tonight on Monday Night Football.
