BCS Bowl Projections: Wisconsin Will Punch Ticket to Rose Bowl on Saturday

Wisconsin will get its revenge against Michigan State on Saturday and advance to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

The Badgers lost to the Spartans in October, but I think that game was a fluke.

Wisconsin's second quarter was the most disastrous 15 minutes of its season and it still had a chance to win in the fourth quarter. But Kirk Cousins and Keith Nichol snatched it away with one of the luckiest plays I have ever seen.

This time around, Russell Wilson, Montee Ball and company won't let it come down to the final play.

Wilson has had a phenomenal senior season thus far, throwing for 2,692 yards, 28 touchdowns and just three interceptions. Due to his ridiculous efficiency, he's first in the nation with a 192.9 passer rating.

Ball has also been dominant this year and is a legitimate Heisman Trophy candidate. He has the most rushing touchdowns (29) and second most rushing yards (1,622) in the country.

Thanks in large part to Ball and Wilson, the Badgers have been on an absolute rampage since losing consecutive games in October.

They have beaten their last four opponents by an average of 30.75 points per game. They currently rank fourth in the nation in both points per game (44.8) and points allowed per game (15.2).

Michigan State is too good to get blown out, but they won't beat the Badgers twice in one season.

Prediction: Wisconsin 38, Michigan State 27
