Tim Tebow: Denver QB Will Lead Team to Playoffs but Shouldn't Earn Elway's Trust
Tim Tebow is always a source of controversy, and while he gets the job done he doesn't deserve John Elway's confidence just yet.
John Elway has said he is still unsure if Tebow is the guy in Denver, and with good reason.
Tebow is 4-1 as a starter with six passing touchdowns and only one interception. He has also ran for two touchdowns and averages 7.2 yards per rush.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Since Denver has made the switch from Kyle Orton to Tebow, the Broncos are gaining over 200 rushing yards per contest. They averaged 101.8 under Orton and now 208.0 under Tebow.
You can say what you want about Tebow, but he is getting the job done.
The Broncos are 5-5 and are looking to make it to the playoffs this season, a feat they will accomplish, yet one that was impossible under Orton. The Broncos are only one game behind the Oakland Raiders for first place in the AFC West.
The Broncos have a relatively easy schedule coming up and if they win today, they should finish 9-7. That would definitely be good enough to secure them a playoff spot in the weak AFC West.
When the Broncos make it to the playoffs, Tebow will be treated like royalty, yet he will still be unfit for the confidence of Elway, the Denver Broncos or the rest of the football world.
As much as I wish Tebow could be a Pro Bowler, he is not. He is a mediocre quarterback who plays scrappy football and finds a way to win.
I'm not trying to antagonize him because as a fan I love that, but as anyone in the NFL will tell you that is not what you want from your quarterback.
Tebow is not an NFL quarterback at this point. He cannot throw 60 passes per game and be successful.
If he can continue to improve on his accuracy and vision he may one day be a true starter, but at this point he is undeserving of being named a true starter.
The Broncos should have some reservations about their quarterback, and if they have the chance to upgrade they should take it.
