Melissa Kellerman's Tweets Draw Shockingly Stupid Reaction from Dallas Cowboys
Melissa Kellerman, the cheerleader who found herself on the wrong end of a Jason Witten collision on Thanksgiving, tweeted a couple lighthearted tweets that outraged the Cowboys so much they made her delete her Twitter account entirely.
There is a word for that: tyrannical. The tweets, seen below, let everyone know that she was OK, and she tastefully joked that the giant football player who demolished her on the sideline wasn't as tough as he looks.
The Cowboys flexed their muscles and brought the hammer down, and for that, they should be embarrassed.

She took a serious fall, and the fact that she was able to pop up and be a good sport about it should be celebrated.
So there is more to Kellerman than the iconic Cowboys cheerleader booty shorts and a pretty face. She's punished for cracking a joke?
It wasn't a shot at Witten. Would it have been more appropriate for her to say, "I'm not feeling too well today. This is clearly the result of my inability to sustain a blow from our barbaric tight end, Jason Witten."
This is a huge overreaction, and if this is overstepping boundaries, the Cowboys need to reevaluate where they draw the line.
Cowboys cheerleaders are held to a higher standard than any other cheerleaders in the NFL, but this notion that they are to shut their mouths and look pretty on the sidelines isn't one that should be tolerated by the public.
They may have thought those tweets made the organization look bad, but it's nothing compared to the raw stupidity they put on display when they forced her to delete her account.
