Fantasy Football Rankings: Victor Cruz and More Studs Playing on Monday Night

Alex KayNov 27, 2011

This week’s edition of Monday Night Football features the New York Giants travelling to New Orleans to take on the Saints in a game that will showcase a ton of fantasy talent.

If you have some players in this matchup on your roster, you need to take a close look and make sure you start these guys, as they are poised to have big games and help lead you to fantasy glory.

Let’s evaluate who is going to have a monster game.

Victor Cruz

Cruz has been lighting it up for a while now and is a legitimate fantasy option each and every week. Against the Eagles, he went off for 128 yards and a TD on just six receptions.

Imagine how many points he is going to put up when the Giants go down early and are forced to throw against the Saints?

Expect a big game from this kid.

Brees is consistently one of the best QBs in the league and for fantasy purposes.

The last time he played the Giants, Brees threw for 369 yards and four touchdowns without an interception or fumble. That is pretty much perfection, and you can expect a performance akin to that with how decimated the New York secondary is.

Jimmy Graham

If Brees is having a big day, someone has to be catching all those passes and touchdowns. My candidate to have the best game of all his options in the vertical game?

Jimmy Graham.

He’s had an amazing, All-Pro-caliber season, and it should continue against the G-Men.

So far this season, Graham is leading all Saints with 62 receptions, 94 targets, 873 yards, six touchdowns and 294 yards after the catch. Those are just insane stats, and the fact that it comes from the tight end position makes them even more eye-popping.

Consider Graham one of the best options at the position this week.
