NFL Picks Week 12: Philadelphia Eagles and Ships Sure to Sink

It’s already Week 12 of the NFL season, folks. That means it's make-or-break time for many teams and their playoff dreams.

Teams like the Philadelphia Eagles are on the edge of elimination, but a win could start to salvage what has been a terrible season. The problem is they are going to lose big.

The following list is of teams that need to win but will fall flat instead. They will sink like the Titanic. What, too soon?

Philadelphia Eagles—The Philadelphia Eagles matchup with the New England Patriots was supposed to be a showcase of a highly likely Super Bowl matchup. At least according to preseason standards.

Now that the Eagles have Vince Young under center instead of Michael Vick and injuries to Jeremy Maclin and Nnamdi Asomugha, it’s safe to say they are the underdogs.

Tom Brady and the Patriots' offense has been slowed over the past few weeks, so this could be the coming out party that buries the Eagles for good.

Denver Broncos—Let’s get this out of the way right now. Tim Tebow is as overrated a quarterback as there ever has been in the NFL.

Can he run the ball? Hell yes! Can he throw the ball? No.

Eventually the Broncos defense will not be able to hold their opponent to ten points, thus not allowing Tebow to drive the ball down the field with a miracle run to win the game. He will lose this week to San Diego.

New York Giants—The New Orleans Saints are quietly building quite the resume while the Green Bay Packers collect all the praise.

The next victim for the offensive assault led by Drew Brees will be the New York Giants. With The Giants playing mediocre at best right now, New Orleans will have no problem imposing their offensive will.

New York’s only hope is that Eli Manning channels his inner older brother and Peytons the Giants to victory. Since that won’t happen, Saints win.
