Bowl Projections: Oklahoma State Would Dissect Their Opponent in BCS Bowl Game

Oklahoma State is one of the best teams in college football. Their offense is incredible when they are on top of their game.

Once they get out of conference play and into a BCS bowl game, they will be able to dominate teams with their passing attack with relative ease. Whoever they play in a bowl game will get dissected by Brandon Weeden and company.

Conference play always brings the best strategy and schemes to slow down the opponent. Teams have struggled to stop Weeden and the Cowboys' offense, but Iowa State slowed him down in their last game by turning him over a couple times.

Weeden has thrown for 4,111 yards and 34 touchdowns. He leads the nation’s second best passing attack.

Wide receiver Justin Blackmon is the best wide receiver in college football. He has caught 103 passes for 1,241 yards and 15 touchdowns. Blackmon will be a high first-round NFL draft pick when he enters the NFL.

But the one guy that nobody talks about is running back Joseph Randle and his 21 touchdowns. He is averaging 5.8 yards per carry en route to 1,042 yards rushing.

This offense is explosive. They can score points in bunches. They average 50 points per game.

Whoever Oklahoma State plays had better be able to play defense at a high level. They also had better have a quarterback capable of putting points on the board. Not too many programs have that combination.

Oklahoma State will prove just how dynamic their offense is in a BCS Bowl game. It will be a coming-out party for Blackmon. People will see just how talented the guy is, if they didn’t know already. He will be propelled into a certain top-three draft choice.

I feel bad for any team that has to play Oklahoma State's offense. It will be a long day.
