Fantasy Football Rankings: Arian Foster and RBs Set to Have Monster Weeks

Josh SchochNov 27, 2011

Week 12 of the NFL season brings with it three running backs who will tear defenses apart. These three guys are all in for huge days and will get you at least 20 points.

Matt Forte, Chicago Bears

Forte has been a beast all year, and this week he faces the Oakland Raiders, who are among the worst teams at stopping fantasy running backs.

With Jay Cutler out, the Bears will rely heavily on Forte both with running the ball and catching screens to build Caleb Hanie's confidence.

Forte has been in a bit of a slump lately, averaging less than 10 points per game over his last three. This will be the week he breaks out of it, however, and gets you enough points to lead you to victory.

LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia Eagles

The No. 1 fantasy running back is in for another big game this week against the New England Patriots.

The Patriots are in the middle of the league when it comes to stopping fantasy running backs because opposing offenses like to burn them through the air. However, with Michael Vick still listed as questionable, McCoy will get plenty of opportunities this week.

McCoy had a down week last week but still pulled off 11 points. This week he will get things back on track in a big way.

Foster has dominated the league since he returned from his injury. Over the last four weeks, he has averaged 27 points per game and has run for five touchdowns.

He's been on fire, and with Matt Leinart under center, there is no doubt Foster will get a ton of carries.

Foster went for 30 points last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and with a bye last week, he will be well-rested for his game against the Jacksonville Jaguars this week.
