Why We Should Only Expect Tim Tebow Train to Keep Rolling

It is very difficult to turn on the TV and not see a mention of Tim Tebow, especially if you are tuned to an ESPN station. Tebow has been a media lightning rod dating back to his high-school football days, where ESPN did a feature on him titled "Tim Tebow: The Chosen One."

His celebrity only grew during his time at Florida, especially after winning a National Title and Heisman Trophy. However, Tebow started to receive some negative coverage as he started a future in the NFL.

Nobody questioned Tebow's college greatness, but many felt he would never develop into a successful NFL quarterback. This was the beginning of even more intense media coverage.

A line in the sand was drawn—either you felt Tebow would find success or he would struggle in the NFL. Just about every NFL analyst felt that Tebow's mechanics would prevent him from succeeding. These analysts were/are not afraid to have their opinion heard. On the other side, the Tebow supporters continued to reference his ability to win.

Tebow's success this season has only intensified the debate. He has basically helped make each side's argument by winning football games but struggling to pass the ball. Tebow is only completing 44 percent of his passes, but has the Broncos on a three-game winning streak.

I strongly feel that Tim Tebow will continue winning football games, but do so without developing into a top-notch passer. I also feel that Tebow will not be the long-term starting quarterback in Denver. This would take the Tebow mania to new heights. It would likely cause mass hysteria in Denver.

The fact is that we have never seen a quarterback like Tim Tebow. We have also never seen a guy spark such heated debates. All Tim Tebow can control is his play on the field, and it seems like that is all he cares about.

For all the controversy surrounding Tebow, the person not involved in the debate seems to be Tebow himself. Again, something that makes him different from just about every other athlete.
