Buccaneers vs. Titans: Why Game Is a Must-Win for Both Teams
This weekend pits two teams against one another that have both been a bit of a surprise this season.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have surprised us all by going from a team coming off a 10-6 season, with a young and seemingly up-and-coming roster, to 4-6 so far this season.
The Tennessee Titans, however, have been surprisingly solid to this point. After finishing with a disappointing 6-10 season, the Titans came into the season with a new head coach and starting quarterback.

Despite the latter, Tennessee has managed to work their way to 5-5 and second place in the AFC South.
At 4-6, the Bucs definitely have the bigger uphill climb in the suddenly stronger NFC. There's almost no chance of them winning the NFC South at this point, leaving them in a huge fight for a wild-card spot.
They currently sit three games behind in the wild-card race.
The Titans still have the option of winning their division or going after a wild-card spot, sitting just one game back in the AFC race. However, there are three other 5-5 teams that are just as hungry for a playoff berth.
With only six games left to make a move in the standings, it has gotten down to do-or-die time for both teams.
Another loss for the Bucs could easily spell the end of their season, and a loss for the Titans makes their road a lot more than rocky.
Whichever team drops this one has likely put the kabosh on their season.
