Week 12 Fantasy Football Rankings: Cam Newton and QBs Who Will Dominate

Austin GreenNov 26, 2011

The 2011 NFL season has been dominated by strong quarterback play.

Ridiculous passing numbers have been posted all season long, and I expect a few quarterbacks to continue that trend in Week 12.

If you own one of these three guys, you will bask in fantasy glory on Sunday.

Cam Newton

After a spectacular start to the season, Newton has struggled the last two weeks. He's thrown five interceptions and completed less than 60 percent of his passes in his last two starts.

Luckily, this week he faces the Indianapolis Colts and their god-awful defense.

The Colts give up 245 passing yards per game (23rd in NFL) and have allowed 19 passing touchdowns this season (tied for most in NFL).

They also have the second-worst run defense in the league, giving up 145.6 yards per game.

With his dual-threat ability, Newton should put up some insane numbers. I'm expecting 400 total yards and at least three touchdowns from him in Week 12.

Big Ben hasn't put up eye-popping numbers this season, but he's still in the top ten in passing yards (2,877) and touchdowns (16).

He should be fresh coming off of a bye week, and he has a favorable matchup against Kansas City.

Last week Tom Brady threw for 234 yards and two touchdowns against the Chiefs.

Expect similar numbers from Roethlisberger Sunday night.

Eli has quietly had an excellent statistical season, throwing for 18 touchdowns and nearly 3,000 yards already.

Monday night, he will add to those numbers in a shootout with Drew Brees and New Orleans.

The Saints gave up 351 yards and two touchdowns to Matt Ryan in Week 11. Look for Manning to have similar success.

The Giants won't win, but Manning's numbers will be just what your fantasy team needs.
