WWE '12: Arn Anderson in Legends Roster Increases Chances of WWE Hall of Fame
Being involved in the annual WWE video game helps a superstar reach a fan base that may not know about them because they are off television. For a former wrestler, like “Double A” Arn Anderson, his inclusion as a Legend in the game introduces him to a fan base that may not remember how great he was.
In fact having Anderson in this year’s game may be the thing that starts the ball rolling for Double A to be included in this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class.
Having Anderson in the game helps his popularity grow to a fan base that may not remember his work in World Championship Wrestling. The new generation just knows Anderson as a World Wrestling Entertainment back stage personality that sometimes is on camera.

Or they may see Anderson in one of the Ric Flair documentaries or in the Four Horsemen piece. They’ll see highlights of Anderson as apart of the Four Horsemen, and his work with Ole Anderson and Tully Blanchard. However, what they do not know is how dominant of a wrestler that Anderson was.
His ability to hone in on one body part and exploit it for the duration of a match was second to none. He would be able to work over an opponent, and wear them down until he could put them away with his patent Spine Buster.
It’s a shame that Anderson has not been included in the WWE Hall of Fame already. He’s one of the greatest wrestlers to have ever stepped into a WCW ring. Not to mention, he was apart of one of the most dominant wrestling stables in wrestling history with the Four Horsemen.
Anderson’s inclusion in WWE ’12 hopefully will lead to a movement to place Anderson among the greatest in the wrestling business.
If he is included in this year’s class it will be interesting to see if the WWE would bring Flair back to induct Anderson in. Throughout their careers Anderson and Flair were always together, and during Flair’s retirement on Raw, Anderson’s appearance left the two wrestlers in tears with a big embrace.
It’s long over due that a wrestler of Anderson’s stature is recognized by the WWE as one of the all-time best.
WWE ’12 is just a start, now it’s time to get behind Double A for the WWE Hall of Fame.
