Week 12 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Ryan Mathews, Jackie Battle and Others to Sit
In Week 12 of the NFL season, the following players should stay on your fantasy football bench:
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bills: His struggles over the past month are well-documented, and the Bills did hardly a thing on offense the last time they faced the Jets. Until he shows some sign of life, keep Fitzpatrick planted on your bench.
QB Matt Leinart, Texans: Have hope that Leinart could come off the Texans bench and save your fantasy season? Don't bank on it. Leinart has never been a big producer, even with big receiving targets in Arizona, and the Jaguars are a better pass defense than you think.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
RB Ryan Mathews, Chargers: The touches are slowly rising again for Mathews, who has been injured several times in 2011, but also note that the Broncos run defense is playing as well as any team in the NFL right now. Mathews could be in for a long day Sunday.
RB Toby Gerhart, Vikings: Gerhart is in line to get the bulk of the carries on Sunday with Adrian Peterson out, but the Falcons are currently the third-ranked fantasy defense against running backs. They haven't allowed 100 yards or more to a back in nine weeks.
RB Mark Ingram, Saints: Ingram is back in the Saints' lineup and should start against the Giants, but he'll still split time with Pierre Thomas and Darren Sproles. That alone hurts Ingram's fantasy value, and we think the Saints will be focusing on the air to beat the Giants on Monday night.
RB Jackie Battle, Chiefs: The Chiefs have no passing game to take the pressure off Battle, and he'll get the full attention of the Steelers' top-five defense. The touches might come, but there's simply not a lot of upside here for Battle.
WR Eric Decker, Broncos: Maybe Tim Tebow wins, but that doesn't mean he's getting the football to Decker with any consistency. It's going to be so hit-or-miss with Tebow under center that I'd hesitate to start any Broncos receiving option.
WR Steve Johnson, Bills: Three things make this a bad week for Johnson: Ryan Fitzpatrick is struggling mightily, Darrelle Revis will be lined up opposite him for 60 minutes and the shoulder still isn't right. Avoid Johnson in Week 12.
