Jason Witten Video: Watch Cowboys TE Tackle Unsuspecting Cheerleader
Early in the fourth quarter of the Dallas Cowboys' 20-19 Thanksgiving Day win over the Miami Dolphins, Cowboys tight end Jason Witten caught a pass near the sidelines.
What happened next was a blow to weird guys who watch football only for the cheerleaders as Witten crashed into one of the Cowboys' famed cheerleaders after stumbling out of bounds.
Although she seemed to be in shock, the cheerleader was certainly a gamer, as she bounced right back to her feet.

Witten did the same as he, along with quarterback Tony Romo, helped lead the Cowboys to a dramatic victory as kicker Dan Bailey knocked through a field goal as time expired. As close as the game was, however, Witten's collision with the cheerleader was probably the most exciting moment.
The game was quite sloppily played and Dallas was lucky to come away with a win, just as it was the previous week against the Washington Redskins.
The win puts Dallas a half game ahead of the New York Giants in the NFC East, so the Cowboys probably think the victory was as pretty as the cheerleader Witten nearly decapitated.
This most definitely wasn't the first time a cheerleader was in harm's way on the gridiron and it won't be the last time either, unless some safety precautions are taken.
I would suggest an elevated stage on the sidelines in order to protect the cheerleaders from out-of-control players.
Sure it might get in the way of people who are trying to watch the game, but the weird guys who only show up to leer at the cheerleaders will be ecstatic.
