WWE Friday Night SmackDown (11/25/11): Shocking Spoilers for Tonight's Show
WWE SmackDown has been on a roll as of late, and judging from the spoilers for the November 25 edition of SmackDown, they're not slowing down.
This episode features the fallout from Survivor Series, where Big Show defeated Mark Henry by way of disqualification. Big Show punished Mark Henry for costing him a legitimate victory (and the World Heavyweight Championship) by crushing Mark's foot in a steel chair.
Calling these spoilers "shocking" is not a cheap attempt to sensationalize an average show, I suspect that this may be one of the best episodes of SmackDown in a long, long time.

One final warning, if you'd like to avoid having tonight's episode of SmackDown spoiled, turn back now!
- Mark Henry opens the show with a promo. He claims that the people enjoy seeing him in pain, and that he deserves more respect for being a champion. Mark goes on to say that it's Big Show's fault that he kicked him in the groin during their match at Survivor Series, prompting Big Show to come out and explain why Mark truly kicked him below the belt. Mark Henry eventually calls Big Show the world's largest loser, and Big Show answers by knocking him out with the W.M.D.
- With the champion unconscious, Daniel Bryan runs out and cashes in his Money in the Bank contract. He pins Mark for the three count, and the crowd goes wild. Teddy Long comes out to spoil the party, claiming that the title change does not count, because the champion could not compete. Long returns the Money in the Bank briefcase to Daniel Bryan, and tells him that he'll be competing in a Fatal 4-Way match with Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett to determine the No. 1 contender. The No. 1 contender will go on to face Mark Henry next week on the live SmackDown, and then the winner will face Big Show at a later date.
- Hunico defeats Justin Gabriel in what was regarded as a forgettable match.
- Beth Phoenix and Natalya defeat AJ and Kaitlyn. Beth is never even tagged in, and Alicia Fox is on commentary. Anyone else notice that Fox is quietly being pushed?
- Backstage, Zack Ryder and Sheamus have a "Woo woo woo, you know it" segment.
- Backstage, Teddy Long and Aksana have their weekly segment. Mark Henry crashes the party, complaining about having to defend his title next week. Teddy Long informs the champ that not only will he defend the title against the winner of tonight's Fatal 4-Way, he'll defend it in a steel cage match.
- Zack Ryder and Sheamus defeat Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger. There's a spiked hair joke in there somewhere.
- Backstage, Daniel Bryan and AJ are talking about how they're both having bad luck tonight. Wade Barrett walks up and tells Daniel that he'll win the Fatal 4-Way tonight. When Barrett leaves, Daniel Bryan and AJ end the segment with a kiss.
- Ted DiBiase defeats Heath Slater. After the win, Jinder Mahal comes on the titantron and accuses DiBiase of disrespecting his heritage by holding his "DiBiase Posse" tailgating parties with common WWE fans. The rumor is that Vince McMahon has given DiBiase the green light to be pushed due to his interaction with fans. The good news is, DiBiase has put in solid work lately, and I think he has a great deal of potential.
- Cody Rhodes is interviewed. When asked about throwing water in Booker T's face on Raw this past Monday, he claims that he did it because Booker looked at him wrong. He goes on to say that he's going to win the Fatal 4-Way tonight, and "he can dig that, sucka."
- Daniel Bryan defeats Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett to become the No. 1 contender for Mark Henry's World Heavyweight Championship. After the match, Rhodes started to attack Daniel Bryan, but Randy Orton made the save with an RKO to close the show.
Be sure to join me for my SmackDown live (but not LIVE!) blog tonight as the show begins on Syfy. If anything, me trying to put my mark out moments into text will be entertaining.
