Miami Dolphins vs. Dallas Cowboys: 5 Keys to Victory for Cowboys in Second Half
The Dallas Cowboys entered today’s Thanksgiving game against the Dolphins on a three-game winning streak. After fighting back to 6-4, Dallas is right back in the middle of the playoff hunt and is looking to build on that success against the Dolphins.
Key to the Cowboy’s recent good play has been better consistency from Tony Romo along with the development of DeMarco Murray in the running game.
Dallas has failed to stay true to that formula in the first half. Dallas can’t afford to continue turning the ball over if they want to win the game.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Dallas needs to win to stay ahead of the Giants in the playoff race. Let’s look at five keys to victory for the Cowboys in the second half.
1. Stay true to the run:
The Cowboys offense has been much better in recent weeks staying more balanced. When everything gets put on Romo, mistakes begin to happen and Dallas isn’t as efficient. The Cowboys should lean on Murray in the second half.
2. Avoid Turnovers
Tony Romo hasn’t been able to hold on to the ball in the first half. He has to make better decisions for the Cowboys in the second half.
3. Keep Pressure on Matt Moore
Rob Ryan’s defense has looked good so far, applying pressure on Matt Moore. Dallas can’t give time for Moore to stretch the field with Brandon Marshall.
4. Keep the Dolphins One-Dimensional
The easiest way to hold down the Dolphins offense is to make them predictable. Miami has done a decent job of running the ball in the first half.
5. Play with discipline
Penalties stalled one Dallas drive, and a Laurent Robinson drop hurt. Dallas can't make stupid mistakes like this in the second half.
