Kevin Smith Injury: Eager Fantasy Owners Should Bail on One-Hit Wonder
After Kevin Smith racked up 140 yards on the ground, 61 yards through the air and three total touchdowns against the Panthers, fantasy owners prematurely gave him the nod against the Packers and were burned for doing so.
Smith was carted off the field with a lower leg injury, and after only accruing 36 yards, fantasy owners learned the value of patience. Smith's monster day against Carolina was an aberration, and now that he's banged up, it's time for fantasy owners to ditch this failed experiment.
One solid performance has proven not to be the beginning of a trend, and now that there are injury concerns surrounding Smith, he's not the worth the space on your bench.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If you picked him up off the waiver wire and decided to see what he could do on your bench before giving him the nod, that's understandable. If you gave him the start this week, hopefully you learned your lesson.
Smith is not a viable option in fantasy football this season. It's time to drop him and move on. Even if Smith is given the start next week against the Saints, he's not worth the gamble.
Picking up Smith was a good thought, but he offers you nothing and can't be trusted in your fantasy lineup this late in the season.
Cut bait and ditch this one-hit wonder before it's too late.
