Kyle Orton: Kansas City Chiefs Will Find Success with New QB
Kyle Orton was a great pickup for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Sure, it was out of desperation and one that Todd Haley probably pushed for to save his job, but the AFC West is wide open and anyone could win it.
The former Bears and Broncos QB could be just the thing the team needs to make another run and get back in the playoff race this season.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Tyler Palko clearly isn’t the Chiefs answer at QB as he proved to the nation on Monday Night Football and the team direly needed to replace him.
Palko failed to throw for a single TD or even lead his team to more than one field goal drive against the worst passing defense in the NFL.
Seriously, the Patriots have the equivalent of high school junior varsity players in their secondary.
If you can’t score on them, you are terrible. They actually had people talking about Eli Manning being one of the elite quarterbacks for a week. It’s that bad.
Now that the team has Orton, and they are paying a hefty $2.5 million for possibly just six games of service, they have positioned themselves to win.
They have a rough schedule, going up against Pittsburgh this week and then Chicago, the Jets, Green Bay, Oakland and finishing at Denver.
There is absolutely no way they could survive with Palko under center and Orton gives them the best chance to navigate that brutal stretch and gain a few wins and possibly the AFC West title.
At 4-6, the Chiefs are tied with the Chargers, one win back from the Broncos and just two away from the division leader Raiders.
It’s easily the worst division in football and a team with an 8-8 record is probably going to win it this year.
Orton gives KC the best opportunity to win four of their next six and also is a candidate to be the starter for the team for years to come.
