Packers vs Lions: Predicting Stats for Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford
It's slated to be a shootout and the odds are significantly in that favor. When the Packers and Lions kick off on Thanksgiving Day, two explosive offenses will be duking it out.
That being said, it will come down to how well each starting QB performs. So, here are some predicted stats for each one.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Packers enter their Week 12 game averaging 305 passing yards per game and rank No. 3 in the NFL. Aaron Rodgers is currently running away with the NFL MVP award, as he's thrown 31 TDs to just four picks in addition to scoring two rushing TDs.
Against Detroit on the road he will be facing a solid Lions pass defense who ranks No. 5 in allowing just 193 pass yards per game. The only thing hurting the Lions however, is that they have yet to really face a prolific offense such as Green Bay's.
Their best offensive opponent thus far was the Dallas Cowboys, but even then, Big D wasn't completely healthy and Tony Romo still threw for 331 yards and three TDs.
As for Rodgers, the Packers have been much healthier this season compared to 2010, and eight different players have 10 or more receptions (six with 20-plus). Therefore, expect Rogers to continue rolling along, because he simply spreads the ball around too much.
Green Bay's offense is as fluid as it gets, and the Lions have no chance to slow them down. Instead, they must try to keep pace.
Prediction: 26-of-39, 325 yards, four TDs (one rushing), one INT
Matthew Stafford
When the Lions offense takes the field, the Packers will be facing the NFL's best receiver in Calvin Johnson. And not only will he dominate, but QB Matthew Stafford will easily exploit Green Bay's No. 31-ranked pass defense.
You can expect Megatron to be double-teamed most of the time. However, that won't matter, as Johnson is quicker, faster and stronger than anyone in the Packers secondary. All Stafford will have to do is throw it up and watch Calvin bring it down.
Also, don't discount the play of RB Kevin Smith. He's a versatile back that will be effective on screens, check-downs and as an additional blocker to help Stafford earn extra time in the pocket. Much like Rodgers, expect Stafford to dish the rock around the horn quite well.
Although the Packers give up tons of yards, they also take a lot of chances. As evidenced by their league-leading 19 INTs, Green Bay's not so much concerned with giving up points, as their defense trusts their offense.
So, Stafford will need to share the wealth to keep the cheese from trying to bite early. Nonetheless, as long as he doesn't get in the habit of forcing the pass, Stafford will match Rodgers yard-for-yard.
Prediction: 30-of-45, 340 yards, four TDs, two INTs
