2. Houston @ Jacksonville
Losing Schaub is a blow, but Houston ranks first with 269.7 ypg allowed and second with 16.6 ppg allowed. The Jags rank 31st with 12.5 ppg.
3. Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland
Two tough losses in a row, but Cincy ranks sixth in ypg allowed (311.1) and tied for eight in ppg allowed (19.5). Cleveland is 28th with 14.5 ppg scored.
4. Seattle vs. Washington
Quietly rank 11th in ypg allowed (333.0) and 14th in ppg allowed (20.9). The Skins rank 27th with 16.0 ppg.
5. Arizona @ St. Louis
Has the makings of an ugly game. The Rams are dead last with 12.0 ppg.
6. St. Louis vs. Arizona
The Cards aren’t much better averaging 19.0 ppg.
7. New York Jets vs. Buffalo
Which team can fade faster? The Bills have averaged 8.7 ppg after getting off to such a hot start.
8. Carolina @ Indianapolis
The Panthers don’t have a good defense but the Colts are a train wreck. They rank 30th with 13.1 ppg. In their past four games that number has dropped to 6.8.
9. San Francisco @ Baltimore
The Ravens are an above average offense but the Niners are giving up just 14.5 ppg. With their ability to run the ball they can shorten the game. They can also force Flacco into mistakes.
10. Baltimore vs. San Francisco
The Niners are also a good offense but the Ravens seem to get up for big games.
11. Atlanta vs. Minnesota
The Falcons are a middle-of-the road defense but if Adrian Peterson is out the Vikes could be in for a long day.
12. Dallas vs. Miami
The Dolphins are riding high but so is Dallas. If they force the Dolphins to play catch-up it could get ugly.
13. Oakland vs. Chicago
It will be interesting to see how the Bears function without Cutler.
14. Cleveland @ Cincinnati
The Browns are giving up just 305.8 ypg (fifth) and 19.3 ppg (seventh).
15. New England @ Philadelphia
The bend-don’t-break Pats somehow rank 10th in ppg allowed (20.3).
