Arkansas vs. LSU: Battle-Tested Tigers Will Trounce Surging Arkansas

It's remarkable that a team that saw its starting quarterback forced from the team at the start of the season would still be so perfect in its efforts.

As they enter into a behemoth clash with Arkansas, it is time to cease with the thought the team will fall and accept they are truly the best in the nation. 

This may not be the biggest rivalry game ever, but it has more at stake than any other in 2011. If LSU and Arkansas were ever going to command the kind of attention that other games do during this amazing slot of games, it would have to start with this one. 

Imagine the kind of vitriol LSU supporters would feel if Arkansas dealt a crushing blow to LSU and more than likely knocking the Tigers from the BCS title seat they have enjoyed all season. 

Think of how Arkansas fans would feel as they bask in the greatness of their epic upset. Well those fantasies will have to stay as such because LSU is going to roll in this clash. 

Battle Tested

LSU enjoys the comforts of home in this contest, and it's not like the Tigers even need it. They have beat three ranked teams away from home this year, an amazing feat that should be noted, especially when you consider one of them was Alabama. 

Not even losing their starting quarterback, Jordan Jefferson, at the start of the season could deter a team that is as deep as any contender in years. 

So, if you think they are going to lose while enjoying the comforts of home, you are smoking. 

Defense 

Defense doesn't just win championships, it also wins emotional games played in November.

I have no doubt Arkansas will find the end zone. The Razorbacks have a passing game that should be feared, even by LSU. 

However, the Tigers have seen all types of offensive measures this year and have come out on top each and every time. From the no-huddle Oregon attack, which has others huffing for air, to the Alabama ground game, LSU can cover it all.

This game will be intriguing and it may even be close. But there is no way it will be upsetting.
