The 5 UFC Fighters Who Could Play a Role in 'The Hangover'

G DNov 23, 2011

In 2009, one of the funniest American comedies was released in theaters and quickly became a hit across the globe.

That film is no other than The Hangover.

The movie filled with comedy, action and thrill became so popular that productions recently revealed The Hangover Part II.

The movie displays a variety of different personalities which have ultimately helped attract a large number of viewers.

And, in our own lives, we can all think of certain individuals that fit each main character's role perfectly.

The UFC is no different as they have an overwhelming amount of different personalities.

So, the following slides display the five UFC fighters who could play a role in The Hangover.

Let's take a look.

Phil: Georges St-Pierre

1 of 5

Since entering the sport of mixed martial arts, Georges St-Pierre has established himself as one of the best fighters in the world.

Not only is St-Pierre one of the most well-liked fighters in the UFC, but arguably the most charming as well.

St-Pierre would play the role of Phil who is played by the famous Bradley Cooper as he is an obvious stud amongst his fellow fighters in the UFC.

Stu: Joe Lauzon

2 of 5

We all have that fairly "nerdy" person in our lives and no matter what he or she does, they will always be that way.

Well, the UFC is no different.

While Joe Lauzon is certainly an up-and-coming fighter in the lightweight division, he's one of the "geeks" in the UFC today.

"Geek" can also refer to the smart guy of the group which Lauzon certainly fills allowing him to play the role of Stu which is starred by Ed Helms.

Mr. Chow: Chan Sung Jung

3 of 5

Chan Sung Jung entered the sport of mixed martial arts as good as anyone as he was declared victorious in his first nine bouts.

However, that's not the only thing Jung would be exceptional at as he could play the role of Mr.Chow in The Hangover.

Similar to Ken Jeong who plays the role of Mr. Chow, Jung is from a Korean family.

Every movie needs that funny Korean man and if the shoes fit, why not wear them?

Doug: Kenny Florian

4 of 5

Over the years, Kenny Florian has established himself not only as one of the best fighters in the UFC, but the most innocent as well.

And, we all have that friend who is the innocent one of the bunch.

Florian would fit the role of Doug perfectly as he's quiet, keeps to himself and isn't talked of too often.

The role of Doug is played by Justin Bartha.

Alan: Chris Leben

5 of 5

Chris Leben entered the sport of mixed martial arts in November of 2002 and has been one of the funniest fighters ever since.

Leben is very similar to that of Alan played by Zach Galifianakis as he is downright hilarious.

While Leben would certainly never spike his friends' drinks, he would play the role of Alan perfectly if given the opportunity.
