Fred Jackson Injury: Bills' Season is Over with Jackson on the Shelf
The Buffalo Bills are spiraling out of control. Breaking news on Fred Jackson guarantees that the spiraling will only continue until the Bills exit the season in dramatic fashion.
The Buffalo News reports what should come as a nightmare headline for Bills fans. Fred Jackson has been out on injured reserve and will be out for the year.
If there were any hopes that the Bills could rebound from a disastrous middle portion of the year, it was flushed down the proverbial toilet with the injury that Jackson received. The fracture to his fibula bone in his lower right leg means the end for the most surprising team in the NFL.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
We were all stunned when a group of mid-tier players corralled to deliver a fast start to the season. Ryan Fitzpatrick was bombing the ball all over the field with marvelous accuracy and Jackson was battering the ball forward with fierce power.
Now Fitzpatrick is mired in a slump and Jackson is done for the year. That three-game slide they are on is about to get worse.
As the report states, "Jackson is second in the NFL in yards from scrimmage through 10 games. He has 934 yards rushing and 442 yards receiving for a combined total of 1,376 yards."
If there is hope, it comes as CJ Spiller has delivered the same 5.5 yards-per-carry average that Jackson had. This is of course through a much smaller sample size. If Spiller was ever going to show that he deserves more touches and greater credit as a featured back, this would be it.
While I would say that this is the end of the Bills, it is far more accurate to say it is the nail in the coffin. The defense that held others at bay is non-existent at the moment and the worse is the troubles they are having on offense.
Fitzpatrick is not driving the team the way he was earlier in the year and the once prolific offense is stagnant. There is no way that things turn around when the best offensive player leaves for the season.
The Bills have been done for weeks. This injury just makes it a certainty.
