NHL Breaking News: New York Rangers to Unveil Winter Classic Jerseys Monday

Christmas just came early for Rangers fans. It is already well-known and documented that The Broadway Blueshirts are taking on The Broad Street Bullies in the 2012 NHL Winter Classic.

The game will be held at Citzens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA.

The rink is already under construction, and the buzz is starting to ooze among fanbases. Up until this week, the Rangers did not have a jersey release date. 

The Flyers have already unveiled their jerseys, and the Rangers will follow suit next Monday after this news update came across Facebook.

The New York Rangers announced the news on their official Facebook page.

This is great news for fans, as the speculation on what sweaters the Blueshirts will wear has been ongoing. This week seems to be a popular week for Winter Classic-related information, as HBO will be airing a short preview of 24/7 on Friday.

The series preview should be a great way to get the fans riled up for the road leading to the Winter Classic. The jersey will also become a popular holiday item for all Blueshirts die-hards. I will be picking one up myself, so I hope it is a good one.

I personally like this one, as it copies the format of the Rangers' heritage third jersey. This one has a nice color scheme.
