Thanksgiving Day football is as American as apple pie. It's a chance to sit back, relax and listen to your extended family bicker over the same things they did last year while enjoying some NFL action.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions
If the Packers go into Detroit on Thanksgiving and emerge victorious, it will officially be time to start talking about an undefeated season. Aaron Rodgers is the league's best player right now and Desmond Bishop is quietly having a terrific season on defense.
It's been a rocky road for the Lions after their 5-0 start. Jahvid Best's injury affected the offense more than expected but perhaps Kevin Smith will fix that problem since he fits the same dual-threat mold. After giving up 35 points to Carolina, it's hard to imagine Detroit slowing down Green Bay.
Prediction: Packers 34, Lions 21
Miami Dolphins at Dallas Cowboys
Give credit to Miami for continuing to play hard despite a terrible start to the season. Matt Moore has shown signs of being a capable quarterback while Daniel Thomas and Reggie Bush could form a formidable duo if they both stay healthy. Still a lot of room for improvement, though.
A three-game winning streak has pushed the Cowboys back atop the NFC East alongside the New York Giants. If Dallas' play on the field finally starts matching its potential, the Cowboys will be a very dangerous team come playoff time.
Prediction: Cowboys 24, Dolphins 20
San Francisco 49ers at Baltimore Ravens
In a battle of head coaching brothers, Jim Harbaugh leads his surprising 49ers into another measuring stick game. When a team has a reputation of recent failure, it takes a bit longer for the bandwagon to fill up, but San Francisco certainly looks like a contender.
Baltimore has been the ultimate Jekyll-and-Hyde team in 2011. The Ravens have scored several marquee wins, including two over Pittsburgh. However, they have also lost to bottom feeders like Jacksonville and Seattle. Which Ravens team shows up will probably decide the winner.
Prediction: Ravens 17, 49ers 14
