2011 PPR Fantasy Football Week 12: Running Backs (RB) Rankings and Projections
Dexter McCluster @ Steelers -
I’ve yet to warm up to using Dexter McCluster as a full time flex play in PPR leagues, but he’s close to that level in at least 12 team leagues. The Chiefs will likely use McCluster more down the stretch as they are likely to fall behind in most games, thus relying on the passing game in garbage time.
McCluster was a lot early on against the Patriots, finishing with eight carries for 39 yards and two receptions for nine yards in the passing game. Before McCluster can be relied upon, we need to see him total around six receptions like he did against the Broncos the week before. At this time, McCluster is worth holding on your roster but give someone else a shot to start this week, unless you're desperate.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Beanie Wells @ Rams –
After a solid start to the season, Beanie Wells hasn’t been the same running back since suffering a knee injury about a month ago. Watching last week against the 49ers, however, he did look like he was starting to play better; he had a couple nice runs against the league's toughest run defense, averaging over four yards per carry for the first time in a game since week four against the Giants.
The Cardinals will continue to “manage” his workload for the remainder of the year, but Wells should make for a solid flex play this week, even in PPR leagues. St. Louis is bad against the run, and of late, they’ve regressed as a team, losing to the Seahawks by a wide margin last week. Wells should be good for at least 70 yards on the ground and a score.
