WWE News: Mystery Superstar To Return on 1-2-12 (with Video)
On the recently concluded edition of the November 21st Monday Night Raw, the WWE showed off its newest viral campaign to hype the return of a mystery WWE superstar on 1-2-12.
While photo stills were being shown of the traditional elimination match between Team Orton and Team Barrett at Survivor Series 2011, a Twitter graphic splashed on the screen before "spazzing out" and highlighting a YouTube web address (click here to watch the video).
The 42-second video is narrated by a 10-year-old boy, who sits alone at his desk in a classroom, scrawling in his notebook.

The video cuts to a swing set on a playground that's being beset by rain before flashing back to the boy.
In between the back-and-forth cuts, the boy assuredly utters that "a power shall come back to punish the meek for their inequity. But, on the second day of 2012, a familiar force shall arrive to claim what is his. It will be the end of the world as you know it."
Soon, the piece comes to an abrupt end, as the foreboding sentence "It begins." occupies the screen.
Given the video's purple and black tones, the incorporation of a child, the school playground and the ominous pitter-patter of the rain, Undertaker seems like the most likely candidate to return on January 2nd, 2012.
However, his last comeback was publicized using similarly dark and mysterious videos.
Perhaps, this campaign is being implemented to herald the return of someone else?
If it is "The Dead Man," the anticipation and suspense that are sure to grow from the WWE's latest attempt to get fans buzzing is going to end in a predictable, deja-vu-tinged letdown.
