Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here are five halftime adjustments the Patriots should consider if they want to win this game.
Get After Palko
The Pats need to get after QB Tyler Palko in the second half. The Chiefs' O-Line has allowed nine sacks in the past two games, combine that with Palko's extreme inexperience behind center, and there should be a number of mistakes due in the second half.
Keep Brady Off the Ground
The Patriots NEED to bring more protection for Brady in the second half. The Chiefs have already dialed up a number of different looks, which has kept Brady out of any rhythm.
New England's O-Line has been absolutely dominated in the first half, this must change if the Pats want to win this game.
Win at the Point of Attack
The Pats should expect KC to come out of halftime ready to establish the run and relieve some pressure off of their QB.
New England must win in the trenches and beat the Chiefs at the point of attack. If the Pats can stop the run, they should be able to expose and capitalize on Palko's inconsistencies.
Limit the Mistakes
Early in the second quarter Brady fumbled the football deep in Chiefs territory. This has become a troubling pattern for Brady as he has now fumbled in four straight games.
In the second half, New England needs to cut out their stupid mistakes. Believe it or not, Palko looks ready to capitalize.
Don't Get Caught Sleepin
I'm not gonna lie, like the rest of the football world, I was predicting a blow out for New England in this game against the Chiefs.
In the second half, the Patriots need to come out swinging and blow this game apart. If KC hangs around too long, things could get ugly really fast.
