WWE Survivor Series 2011: Big Show Beats Mark Henry and What It Means
Last night at Survivor Series, Big Show may have gotten the win, but Mark Henry left as world champion. In a move that I feel is a bad play in a world title match on PPV, Mark Henry got himself disqualified with a low blow.
After the match was over, Mark Henry tried to break Big Show's leg again by giving a corner splash to Show's leg wrapped in a chair.
Big Show moved, put the chair on Henry's leg and gave it a big leg drop. I am not sure if WWE is trying to write Henry off TV and have him stripped of the title, but I doubt he will be out of action long enough for that to happen from this kayfabe injury.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The match had a few good moments, the best being Big Show climbing to the top rope and delivering a flying elbow, which got a Randy Savage chant out of the New York crowd. The two men could not break the reinforced ring, but they took the action outside and broke down one of the barriers instead.
The match was decent, especially considering who was involved. Matches featuring two huge men are often slow and boring, but Big Show had a little more quickness than most men of his girth. This feud is clearly not over, and knowing the trend on SmackDown, Teddy Long will grant Big Show a rematch after the poor finish.
What I am most curious to see is whether WWE has Big Show and Mark Henry face off one-on-one or if they will add someone else to the mix next time around. Sheamus, Barrett, Orton and Christian are all ready and willing to take on the world champion at any given notice, and let's not forget Mark Henry's ongoing feud with Daniel Bryan.
There is a multitude of matches that could be made for the next PPV, but we will have to wait and see what WWE has planned for the world heavyweight championship on SmcakDown.
I hope Big Show is not screwed out of another shot, because I feel it is time for him to hold a world title again. He has been back in WWE for over three years, and this is the closest he has been to regaining the title he first held when he was 23.
Big Show is a hard worker who deserves another good run or two with the title before he eventually retires and passes the torch to the next generation of big men.
