Fred Jackson Injury: Update on Buffalo Bills Star's Leg Injury
Bills running back Fred Jackson has left the game after sustaining a leg injury, adding another huge loss to the laundry list of injuries they've sustained against the Dolphins.
Terrence McGee and Donald Jones went down earlier in the game; NFL rushing leader Jackson going down in the third quarter delivers another blow to a Bills team who is already getting spanked today.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This is a huge blow to fantasy owners. Fred Jackson has single-handedly carried fantasy teams this season and those who took a flier on him in the later rounds struck gold.
If he's down for any significant amount of time, it could cripple a team who is making a playoff push.
Who's the Backup?
C.J. Spiller is a home-run hitter, but he hasn't proven that he can be the every down back that Jackson is. If they have to go into New York with him carrying the load, they are in trouble.
Devastation Scale: 8/10
The Bills' rapid decline is made exponentially worse if Jackson is out for a significant amount of time. He got hurt in a beatdown, which makes it that much worse, but the Bills are still in the wild-card hunt in the AFC.
At 5-5, the reeling Bills are at a crossroads and this injury would lead to further devastation.
Timeline for Return
The good news is, he was seen on the sideline icing his injury. His ability to make it out of the locker room and back onto the sideline leaves reason for optimism, but there is no telling whether or not he is going to be able to go next week against the Jets in a must-win game for the Bills.
What They're Saying
NFL.com's Michael Fabiano points out Jackson's presence on the sideline and the Bills' reluctance to risk Ryan Fitzpatrick's health.
