WWE Survivor Series 2011: Zack Ryder Will End Up in United States Title Match
One of the surprises to emerge from this week's WWE shows was Internet hero Zack Ryder not being given a United States title match. However, Ryder's been getting a huge push lately, so don't be surprised if he still gets his wish at Madison Square Garden tonight.
Ryder spent the entirety of both RAW and SmackDown in the backstage area getting other superstars to sign his popular online petition, which he's promoted tirelessly on his Twitter account.
Since it was announced that John Morrison would be facing Dolph Ziggler at Survivor Series, Ryder has called the decision a “Manhattan Screwjob.” An obvious ode to the Montreal Screwjob involving Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
One of the biggest reasons I believe WWE is promoting Twitter so much is because they want to use it as a way to advance story lines. Ryder and Ziggler are a perfect example, as the two have been ribbing on each other all week.
So, what will happen inside MSG tonight? There are two options.
The most likely scenario would be Ryder being a late addition to the current match, making it a triple-threat bout for the title. At that point, it would really be Ryder vs. Ziggler anyway because Morrison just ended a long losing streak and isn't ready to hold a mid-card title yet.
Another, more interesting option, would come after the traditional 10-man tag match and before The Rock and John Cena take on R-Truth and The Miz.
By that time, Ziggler will have already defended his title against Morrison and spent an extended period of time in the tag match. John Laurinaitis will then walk out and declare that he's willing to listen to his fans and will give Ryder a title match.
This would allow the Long Island Iced Z to win the title while also making Ziggler look strong in defeat, which could help add fuel to the feud.
Thanks to his increased air time, unique gimmick and popular YouTube show, Ryder is one of WWE's newest stars and he has the merchandise sales to prove it. A title run is the only way to find out if he has staying power, though.
After being featured so much in recent weeks, it's just too hard to believe that Ryder will get left out of Survivor Series. Especially considering who replaced him on the card.
So don't worry Zack Pack, the head broski could still steal the show tonight.
