WWE Survivor Series 2011: Why Big Show and Mark Henry Will Steal the Show Again

Brandon GalvinNov 20, 2011

The Big Show and Mark Henry will outshine John Cena, The Rock and the entire WWE roster at Survivor Series 2011.

The two behemoths stole the show at Vengeance last month when their superplex exploded the ring on impact. This will be their third pay-per-view match of the year and Vince McMahon will make sure their World Heavyweight Championship bout is one to be remembered.

Show and Henry have always had a special place in McMahon’s heart, so this is clearly a dream matchup for him. Show has a history of producing memorable matches at this event, including his phenomenal five-minute fast-paced bout with Brock Lesnar in 2002.

That match will be the blueprint for the World Heavyweight Championship Main Event. WWE is masterful when it comes to showcasing strengths and masking weaknesses. The company will do everything in their power to make sure Show and Henry produce memorable spot after spot, just like they did in 2002 when Show wrestled an injured Lesnar.

Considering this will be Henry and Show’s third PPV encounter, we will see a chemistry unlike we have seen from them together. They had great spots in their previous matches. Though it will be difficult to top an exploding ring, leave it to Vinny Mac to find a hidden string to pull out from his sleeve.

Even better for WWE, nobody is expecting much out of Show and Henry this time. With The Rock back, all eyes are on him. After the exploding ring spot, the fans aren’t looking for a big moment again from these two.

That’s where WWE comes in and smacks the fans in the face to show them they mean business. Never doubt the McMahon family and their promotion, because just when you do, they will make you pay, big time.
