WWE Survivor Series 2011 Results: Big Show and 7 Contenders for the World Title

David LevinNov 20, 2011

Winning isn't everything, but it's the only thing.

That's why Mark Henry got himself disqualified at Survivor Series. He could not take down Big Show and did the only thing he to do—cheat and then try to hurt the man he put of action at Money in the Bank.

Now that the World's Strongest Man retained his title, but in the process, was injured in much the same motives that he himself has inflicted on his opponents with a chair wrapped around his ankle as all of Big Show's weight coming crashing down, it now remains to be seem what happens if Henry is injured.

But as wrestling continues, there are still contenders to be had, and we shall see if Big Show continues to chase his nemesis for the heavyweight title.

8. Mason Ryan

1 of 8

I believe at some point, Ryan will be on SmackDown and will challenge for the world title.

He's strong enough to challenge Mark Henry. He's tough enough to stand toe to toe with a Sheamus and he's just crazy enough to try his luck with a Randy Orton.

And he has been getting a decent push lately.

Could be a sleeper pick in 2012.

7. Christian

2 of 8

I think when he returns from injury, you will see him get back into the main event picture.

Christian is great in the ring, great on the mic and certainly looks good in a lead role with a stable.

That said, he's not a Randy Orton-type who can carry the load on his back.

Christian may challenge a face for the title, but he probably won't win it.

6. Cody Rhodes

3 of 8

I wish there was so way for the Intercontinental Champion to be relevant again.

Rhodes needs another push. Rhodes needs to step up.

He is a great performer and has shown he can handle being in the main event.

Would he go as far as to challenge a heel for the World Title? Would the creative team allow that?

It remains to be scene.

5. Wade Barrett

4 of 8

He was left for dead two months ago and look at him now.

Could he be the WWE version of Samoa Joe?

Only thing is Barrett comes out every week and kills it.

Joe picks his shots.

Barrett will be a world champion at some point.

4. Randy Orton

5 of 8

You could put Orton and Barrett on the same level.

I put Orton ahead because he's a former champion.

Orton also politics like no other WWE wrestler, and unfortunately, politics play a key role in this company.

3. Daniel Bryan

6 of 8

Until he cashes in that contract he has, Bryan is a contender.

I don't like it, but he's a contender.

I think we will see him cash that in soon, maybe at TLC?

Let's all hope so.

2. Sheamus

7 of 8

I just like his character and the role he has been on can only mean good things for him.

Sheamus is now as popular as many of the WWE superstars.

He can sell as well, but he's so powerful, and a feud with Mark Henry just looks good to me.

1. Big Show

8 of 8

Big Show will be getting another shot at the title despite all these guys on deck to take his place.

My question is what if someone comes along the way at, well let's say TLC, and ruins this chance for wrestling's biggest competitor? What I do see is the big man involved in another feud of some sort as well. Could it be KANE?

That may make sense. The Big Red Machine comes back and instead of picking on the one man who put him out of action, he chooses to go after his former tag team partner?

Only in wrestling.

But Kane needs to come back with a harder edge. Maybe this does that for him.
